About Jessica Bensky, M.Ac.O.M., L.Ac.
Jessica earned her Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (M.Ac.O.M.) from one of the premier schools in the country, the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine (SIOM). There she was trained in a variety of acupuncture styles, Chinese orthopedic massage (tuina), herbal medicine, food therapy, and in the use of Osteopathic palpation techniques. Through the use of Osteopathic listening techniques, Jessica is able to feel your body’s response allowing her to adapt each treatment to meet your individual needs. Jessica specializes in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding and pediatric care, as well as natural healthcare for the whole family.
Jessica is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist by the National Association for Detox Acupuncture (NADA). Jessica is licensed as an acupuncturist by the State of Texas and is currently applying for her license in the State of Illinois. She recently moved to Champaign-Urbana, IL with her husband Miles, a doctoral student at the University of Illinois.
